I fondly remember Elizabeth
Cutler Smith from my days on the N.N. Historical Commission. She added so
much and was such a pretty little lady with so much spunk. I was secretary
of this organization and on occasion would deliver the minutes on the way
home from the shipyard, rather than mail them. She invited me in a couple of
times and showed me all the family pictures...she was so proud of each
family member. I truly appreciate the fact that I knew her. You have my
deepest sympathy and prayers. Fred Mays, '60 of Newport News, VA. |

| Dearest Claire,
Jeanie and Betsy, I just read about your mother and I am so sorry that I did not know last week so that I could see you in person. I loved your mother! I remember such good times when we lived on 59th and you on 56th St. There were so many fond memories at First Presbyterian Church---Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, etc. I was also blessed to see Libby often at school when we both taught at Ferguson High School. She often visited at Warwick where I went when Ferguson closed. I know you will miss her greatly. She was truly a great lady! Love and blessings! Judy Phillips Allen Jerry and family also |

Come, Ye Disconsolate
Words by Thomas
Moore; alt. by Thomas Hastings
Music by Samuel Webbe
Come, ye disconsolate, where'er ye languish.
Come to the mercy seat, fervently kneel.
Here bring your wounded hearts, here tell your anguish;
Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal.
Joy of the desolate, light of the straying,
Hope of the penitent, fadeless and pure!
Here speaks the Comforter, tenderly saying,
"Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot cure."
Here see the bread of life; waters flowing
Forth from the throne of God, pure from above.
Come to the feast of love; come, ever knowing
Earth has no sorrow but heaven can remove.
