I came
across other "treasures" as I was rummaging through a trunk at
Mom's house.
They inspired me to suggest a new page to which subscribers could contribute:
"My Childhood Visits to Santa"

I will begin: I would bet that many Typhoons (and Crabbers and Farmers and Mariners) have one or more photos of their visits to Santa. If a few more are submitted, we can see if the Santa in mine resembles the Santa in theirs. My photos were not labeled, but I am guessing that the location was Nachman's. If other photos are labeled and the Santa is the same, then we will know. Anyway, it should be good for a few laughs. Perhaps we can all submit funny captions to fit the expressions ... both ours AND Santa's. |

I altered the name of the page ever so slightly.
After (my father) retired, he (are you ready?)
was the Santa Claus whose lap you sat on at
Newmarket
and told your dreams and wishes to. He loved it and he loved every kid that sat
on his lap ~~~ even the ones that peed on him.
That was MY Dad, and he was the BEST !!
