"Encouraging school spirit is the main job of our Varsity Cheerleaders. They are always enthusiastic and ready to keep the student body cheering its teams on to victory. They are also responsible for our pep assemblies, which are so well-planned, in addition to contributing much spark and eagerness to our athletic activities."

"Our pint-sized pepsters, the Junior Varsity Cheerleaders, promote school spirit and enthusiasm at the J. V. athletic events.  Their flashing smiles can also be seen at our pep assemblies, at which they present lively songs and skits.  These girls, as well as the Varsity Cheerleaders, are sponsored by Miss Carol Kauffman and are chosen at the end of the school year."
