Saturday Afternoon, October 28, 2000
 Hampton Carousel, 22 Lincoln Street, Hampton, Virginia

The second was held across town at the Hampton Carousel on Saturday, October 28 at noon, followed by lunch at the Dockside.
There were only 14 of us there, but we had a particularly wonderful time in a very relaxed atmosphere.
Okay, only seven of us actually rode the Merry-Go-Round, but we had more fun!
Probably everyone else considered themselves too mature for such foolishness
(even though a few mentioned such things as motion sickness).
Personally, I believe it's harder to grow old if you refuse to grow up, so I never have.
I'm still just a kid. And I had a great time!

The old Merry-Go-Round from Buckroe Beach Amusement Park (which was dismantled in 1985)
was painstakingly restored and reopened to the public on June 30, 1991.
At only 50 cents a ride, it is an amazing bargain, not to mention its sentimental value.
